1. A.History.of.Art.in.Three.Colours.2012

Gorgeous gold, blue in the same colour as the sky and sea, and pure white. These are not just three colours, they are a source of endless inspiration for the artist.

What is most interesting to me is that the three colours of gold, white and blue, which are closely linked to the development of the world's art history, are used by individual artists to evoke our emotions and change our behaviour.

2. Abstract: the art of design

This is the third time I have watched this documentary and the graphic design part of it has always inspired me to do well in design.

The first season of the documentary captures the relatively traditional and well understood art and design industries: illustration, architecture, graphic design, photography, interior design, etc. Each episode of the film captures a leading figure in one of the creative arts industries and shares the artistic philosophy behind their creation.

3.Chinese documentary: partial 局部

My very, very favourite Chinese artist, Chen Danqing.

The documentary draws on the eyes and words of Chen Danqing to tell the public about a single detail in a work of Chinese and Western art.

With Chen Danqing's frank approach, each episode is about one point only, without high academic terms, but with the ability to make people think about aspects they had overlooked

4. Hearts and Crafts

For my project I need to make some objects by hand. These are things I have not or less often tried in the past, so I looked for some inspiration in the documentary.

It brings to life, through video footage, the mysterious workshops that have not been open to the public for over 170 years, and tells the story of the warm handcrafted art that is done by the hands of artisans.
